In 2000, we decided it was time to move in a different direction than clay, at least for a while. Gale started woodturning and Don began equiping a woodshop and building furniture. By 2008, the furniture reached a level that we felt we could begin marketing it. We approached the Grovewood Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina and they agreed to show the work. A few years later we started showing at Sawbridge Studio, a gallery/design shop in Winnetka, Illinois, a north Chicago suburb.
The 2 galleries have been very successful for us over the years and continue to exhibit and commission a broad range of work.
