Asheville U.U.C. Project

In 2015, The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Asheville, North Carolina undertook extensive remodeling of their Church. Working through the Grovewood Gallery in Asheville, they commissioned several pieces for their sanctuary and foyer. After meeting with committee members on 2 occasions they requested 8 pieces.

They were delivered in the Fall of 2015

The pieces were all done in Cherry. Pulls , pegs and other details were Granadillo. A cherry burl veneer was used on the panels

Worship Table. This sits at the center of the sanctuary and holds a ceramic vessel. Congregants place  candels in the vessel during the service.

Pedestal. A large Sculptural Chalice is placed on the pedestal during the service.

These nesting tables are used in the foyer for various purposes

.Welcome table. The bottom piece is a shelf which serves as a desk top while greeting parishoners. The drawer holds printed material.
